The Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i Pro come to India as redesignated Redmi Note 11T Pro models. Here are all the details.
The Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i will soon be two new additions to Redmi’s portfolio in India! Following a recent leak, the Redmi K50i will continue from the long-forgotten Redmi K series, which debuted in 2019 with the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro in India. But don’t be as excited as you probably were with the Redmi K20 series. This is because the Redmi K50i and Redmi K50i Pro will be based on devices from the Redmi Note series that was introduced recently.
These devices are in fact the Redmi Note 11T Pro and Redmi Note 11T Pro +, which were launched in China earlier this week. Both of these phones were expected to enter global markets as either Poco or Xiaomi devices. However, based on information acquired by tipper Kacper Skrzypek, the Redmi Note 11T Pro could become the Redmi K50i, while the Redmi Note 11T Pro + could become the Redmi K50i Pro. The Pro variant also gets a 108MP main camera on the back.

Redmi K50i and K50i Pro are coming to India
Note that Xiaomi India does not report anything in this area yet, so we recommend that you take it with a pinch of salt. If this turns out to be true, then the Redmi K series will return to India after three years.
Based on known specifications from Chinese models, the Redmi K50i Pro could come with a 108MP rear camera, while the regular Redmi K50i could get a 50MP main camera. Both the Redmi K50i and K50i Pro will come with a 6.6-inch FHD + LCD display with a 7-step variable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. We last saw this type of display on the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, which was launched in 2020. The phones could also have a 16MP front camera. The displays support both DC dimming and Dolby Vision.
The highlight of these phones will be the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset, which will offer the same kind of performance as the Snapdragon 888. These Redmi K50i models could therefore act as a feeder series for the Xiaomi flagships and compete with the Realme and iQOO flagships. this price range.
The Redmi K50i Pro could also get a 120W charging solution with a 4400mAh battery, while the Redmi K50i could have a larger 5080mAh battery with a slower 67W fast charge.
