The self-proclaimed “mom-fluencer” divided the internet with her “lazy” wash.
Mai Zimmy, a three-time mother, attracts thousands of people to her favorite YouTube and TikTok channels, where she shares tips on some of the most difficult parenting situations.
Her “Lazy Mom Hack” series has become viral on TikTok for her unique hacks and the tricks she uses for everyday tasks, says Mirror.
But one of her laundry tips must have fluffed up a few feathers – especially for those who can’t stand the sight of crumpled clothes.
In the clip, he explains the amount of laundry he has to deal with from his three-year-old twins and his one-year-old child.
She explained that washing clothes was not a big problem for her, but rather folding and packing, which was annoying with so many small things that needed to be handled.
Instead, she says, just throw things in their usual places while avoiding energy depletion and giving her the free time she can spend with her children.
Mai, who records on TikTok as @maizimmy He said, “Washing takes so much time, and when you have to wash small children, I feel like it takes you a whole week. In truth, washing isn’t that bad, it’s folding and putting off laundry that I really don’t do.” I do not like.

“So my lazy mom is that I just don’t take my kids’ clothes off anymore, because to be honest, my three-year-old might not care if I don’t take his clothes off.”
“I’m still putting everything aside, maybe all the T-shirts come here, this one sat in a draw without the folding method and his clothes don’t even crumple, so who cares that he’s not folded, but stored in the right drawer to find their clothes in the morning. All their jams come down here, who cares if the jams are wrinkled.
“It will save you a lot of time and you can spend it with your children.”
Mai stressed that one of the important parts of this is storing clothes where they should be in the closet.
This ensures that children have access to the right clothes when they need them.
This hack undoubtedly frees up some free time, but divides the commentary section into a section criticizing Mai’s parenthood.
One commentator questioned the effectiveness of Mai’s hack and said, “It’s definitely squeezing and crumpled clothes are so tacky.”
Another criticized her parenting: “It’s not even a question of whether it’s crumpled or not, it’s a responsibility. You don’t want them to be unnecessary. Laziness will grow out of them. “
However, a surprising number of TikTok users have responded not only to support Mai’s hack, but also noted that they have been doing so for years.
One parent said, “I stopped putting on clothes in front of three children. I have five of those pagans now, and I don’t even take off my own clothes. “
Another praised Mai by saying, “That hack with Mom just changed Dad’s life.”
